Learn at The Gantt

The Harvey B. Gantt Center for African-American Arts + Culture offers early childhood and K-12 guided tours and workshops that meet North Carolina Standard Course of Study (NCSOS) and are perfect for independent and public schools and homeschools. We invite you to join us for a range of dynamic experiences – inspired by the exhibitions on view – that explore African-American and African diaspora art, history, and culture.

Our Family First programs offer parents, caregivers and children the opportunity to explore the world of art together. Student and Teacher programs allow students and their teachers to investigate the important role art plays in life and learning. Through our adult offerings, patrons participate in extensive multidisciplinary programs that leave lasting impressions.
