    Gantt Golden Year Poet Laureate Bluz Rogers is offering a unique service for Gantt members and patrons alike.

    The Creative Consult is a free, individual one-hour consultation with Bluz that explores the creative possibilities of your business or artistry. The consultation can also include weddings, a baby shower, cookouts, you name it ... you need a spin on your event or gathering, the door is open.

    Bluz has worked with a myriad of businesses, helping them tap into their creative side as well as creating custom work that celebrates their customers and employees. In addition to the Gantt, his client list includes the Charlotte Hornets, ESPN, Raycom Sports, Blumenthal Performing Arts, Charlotte Shout, National Museum of African American Music, Los Angeles Poetry Fest, Mint Museum, Corning, Credit Karma, Breaking Convention, Charlotte FC, NASCAR, Dance Theatre of Harlem, Wells Fargo and more.

    The consultation offers award-winning creative direction and connections to other creative resources within Charlotte and surrounding areas. Utilizing the vast network Bluz has amassed over the years as a tool to help you grow in your artistry or business, this opportunity serves as a tool that helps build stronger, intentional community trust and recognition of your brand.

    To schedule a one-hour consultation, email Bluz Rogers at bluz@ganttcenter.org with a brief description of your business/practice and the desired appointment date/time.

    An Emmy® Award-winning poet, Bluz has been honored with the Excellence in Leadership recognition from the NAACP, and Poet Laureate for the Harvey B. Gantt Center’s 50th Anniversary – the Gantt Golden Year. Bluz’s poetry is universal – dismantling social, economic, and ethnic barriers; reaching into the heart of the community where he is an active member.

    He uses his words, writing, and voice to work with several organizations including the Charlotte Hornets and the National Museum of African American Music. He shared the stage with a wide range of distinguished poets and international recording artists including Nikki Giovanni, Sonia Sanchez, Gil Scott Heron, Outkast, John Legend, and Pink Floyd, and he devotes his time to his wife and three children.
