Prince's Guitar: Themed Sip and Paint with Cathay Dawkins

Ages:
21+
Cost:
$25 per person
  • About This Program

Celebrate Classical Music Month with a twist! The classically-trained musician Prince Rogers Nelson created a sound that is unique to him and has lived in the hearts of many since his debut in 1978. He used Western combinations of instruments, melody and harmony -- tropes of Classical music -- to create the countless hits we know and love.

This special Sip and Paint, led by artist Cathay Dawkins, will honor Prince in several ways. Listen to the specially-created playlist of iconic Prince songs while painting Prince's iconic guitar, shaped in the unpronounceable (Artist Formerly Known as Prince) symbol we know and love. This workshop is welcome to all (ages 21 and up), and all experience levels. Although not required, dress attire is any shade of purple!

Ticket purchase includes all supplies needed to paint Prince's guitar, and one wine or beer beverage of choice. Other beverages will be available for additional purchase.
