    Open Studio Dos & Don’ts

    The Dos ...

    • Do come with an open mind ready to explore new ideas and techniques.
    • Do plan to create something special and meaningful during your session.
    • Do bring your own applicable equipment (e.g., cameras, props, drawing tablets, etc.), if needed.
    • Do bring a way to access and save your files (e.g., a hard drive, USB, or cloud storage).
    • Do respect the space and other creators by cleaning up after yourself.
    • Do ask for help or guidance if you need assistance with equipment.
    • Do be mindful of time and respect your scheduled session.
    • Do share and collaborate with other artists if you’re working on group projects

    And The Don’ts ...

    • Don’t plan projects involving nudity or explicit content, as this is a shared, inclusive, community space.
    • Don’t bring food or drinks into the studio to avoid damage to equipment and workspaces.
    • Don’t use harmful or unsafe materials without prior studio approval (e.g., toxic chemicals, smoke machines).
    • Don’t disrupt others’ creative processes—keep noise to a respectful level.
    • Don’t leave personal belongings unattended, as the studio is not responsible for lost items.
    • Don’t monopolize shared equipment; be fair and share with others if it's in high demand.
