  • About This Program

Led by Kojo Bey and Drums 4 Life

Drumming has always had an unshakable bond with communities of African ancestry. On June 19th, we will celebrate a moment in the African journey with a drum circle in the Gantt Center plaza! The esteemed Drums 4 Life group will activate the center from right outside, with healing sounds led by drum leader Kojo Bey. An event the entire family can enjoy, we welcome all ages and backgrounds to celebrate Juneteenth with the sounds of our roots.

He presently conducts on-going drum circles to support humanitarian efforts both domestically and abroad.
