About This Program
Create an individual or family stamp, unique to you! Participants will use foam, wood blocks and acrylic paint to create stamps that can be used for years to come.
It's the perfect project for making art pieces or using the stamp on clothing and tote bags. Imagine a summer at the beach or around town with your clothing item or tote bag decorated with the distinctive stamp you created!
Be sure to bring 1 or 2 pre-washed clothing items or bags to stamp during the workshop.

About the Teaching Artist
Kimberly Turner is a jewelry designer, visual artist, visual storyteller, creative director and educational consultant. She designs unique pieces of jewelry, art and short films/campaigns and uses them to tell stories for Elizabeth In Pearls, her business named after her grandmothers - Elizabeth and Pearl. She is inspired by color, pattern, texture, nature and her ancestors. Kim takes her same creativity into classrooms and learning spaces, to facilitate workshops for children, youth and adults.
Your support helps the Gantt present exceptional exhibitions, leading scholars and engaging programs that celebrate the African-American story.
