The Harvey B. Gantt Center is excited to exhibit I'm Walkin' For my Freedom: The Selma March And Voting Rights by photojournalist Matt Herron. Based in Mississippi in the early 1960’s, Herron covered the Civil Rights struggle for Life Magazine, Look Magazine, Time Magazine, Newsweek Magazine, and the Saturday Evening Post. He also provided photographs and support for the Student Non-Violent Coordinating Committee (SNCC).
