Artist talk with Image Activist Alvin C. Jacobs, Jr.Alvin will share about the process of creating the Welcome to Brookhill exhibition as well as his process as a photographer and image activist. Learn what led him to photography and the way he uses the camera to capture moments in various movements around the country.
Following his talk, Alvin will lead attendees through a guided tour of the exhibit. Welcome to Brookhill explores the stories and faces behind Charlotte’s conversation about the need for affordable housing.
